After the detention by the Russian navy of the Dutch-flagged Greenpeace ship Arctic Sunrise, and the arrest of the deputy head of the Russian Embassy in The Hague on charges of child abuse on October 5, comes a new twist, as the second most senior figure in the Dutch Embassy in Moscow was beaten in his home on October 15 by two men victim who left a homophobic slogan daubed on his wall.
