On the flag: "Personal politics"

On 20 August, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras announced the break-up of his government and new elections expected to be held on 20 September. In doing so, he is aiming to defeat the internal opposition within his party, the radical leftist coalition Syriza, which withdrew its support after the adoption of reforms required by Greece's creditors in exchange for a new aid package.
