A "New Deal" to create jobs for Europe's under-25s will be unveiled on May 28 at a meeting in Paris. French President François Hollande will preside over the meeting alongside French Finance Minister, Pierre Moscovici, French Labour Minister, Michel Sapin, and their German counterparts Woldfgang Schäuble and Ursula von der Leyen. Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy is also expected to address the assembled company.
In a crisis-ridden Europe, the under-25s are particularly vulnerable and account for over 20 per cent of the unemployed in 18 countries.
The French daily explains that:

the initiative, which aims to make more efficient use of existing funds, could focus on three points: low-interest loans for businesses, and the promotion of apprenticeship and business creation schemes.
