Meanwhile, the baby boomers will be reaching retirement age. A consequence of these two events, notes Danish daily Aftenposten is that:
in 2035, the government will have to go into debt. And it is today’s youth that will have to pay the bill. They will have to work longer and longer and pay higher taxes.
