Rzeczpospolita calls upon EU foreign ministers who are meeting today in Brussels to discuss the crash of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in Eastern Ukraine on July 17 to show “determination” when dealing with Russia.
“Today no one harbours any illusions. Russia acted as a state terrorist,” writes the Warsaw daily hinting at the backing provided by Moscow to the pro-Russian separatists in Eastern Ukraine who are being accused of shooting down the Malaysian plane with 298 people on board. Rzeczpospolita urges EU ministers -

Don’t talk with Moscow in the spirit of reconciliation and understanding. Tough conditions are to be laid down for [Russian president Vladimir] Putin.
