‘Truth or war propaganda?’

Tuesday “a diplomatic bomb” has exploded, after Ukrainian security forces SBOe head Valentin Nalivaytsyenko said they had arrested a group of “saboteurs” allegedly sent by the Russian secret services to attack the Dutch government delegation that was visiting Ukraine on 8 November, writes De Volkskrant.

The Dutch officials were in Kharkhiv (Eastern Ukraine) to collect the bodies of five passengers of the Malaysian Airlines liner that was shot down in July.

Being very cautious about the Ukrainian allegations, De Volkskrant says that -

the Netherlands have again completely unexpectedly become a part of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. First the Netherlands were surprised by the downing of MH17, now The Hague has to find its way in the mist of somebody else's war. [...] If the allegations are true, this will lead to a definitive rupture with Russia. But if Ukraine has made it up, the damage will be huge as well.
