A map of the countries that recognize the Armenian genocide and the Holodomor

Published on 3 May 2015 at 20:42

This world map by @BeautifulMaps from data available on Wikipedia shows countries that officially recognise the armenian genocide (Medz Yeghern) of 1915; those that officially recognised the Holodomor, the genocide by hunger made by the Soviets in Ukraine in 1932-33, and those that recognise both.

The vast majority of European countries recognise either one or both genocides, except Portugal, Iceland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Luxembourg, Bielorussia, Albania and the former Yugoslavia countries.
