Aujourd'hui en France (Today in France) is the title of the national edition of the regional daily, [Le Parisien](http://www.leparisien.fr/). Launched in 1944, under the name Le Parisien libéré (The Free Parisian), for many years the title focused on tabloid-style content. In 1986, a new name and a change in layout marked a shift to more up-market editorial values. However, crime pages continue to outweigh international news content in the paper, which is the largest selling daily in Paris and the Île de France region. The Le Parisien website offers access to comprehensive weather, traffic and business information services, as well as local news.
