London Evening Standard

The London Evening Standard is a free daily tabloid newspaper published from Monday to Friday and focusing on London and national news. Founded in 1827, it became a free paper in October 2009, shortly after it was bought from Associated Newspapers by Russian businessman and former KGB agent Alexander Lebedev in January that year.
