Today, 31 experts from countries including the United States, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom, will meet to assess the problems concerning the reactor core tanks produced by the Dutch Group, Rotterdam Drydock. The tanks are installed in 22 nuclear power stations worldwide, including Belgium’s Doel 3, where power generation was suspended at the end of July after cracks were detected.
