“Kolinda en la oficina presidencial”

La candidata de la Unión Democrática Croata (HDZ ,nacionalista), Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, ganó por estrecho margen las elecciones presidenciales con el 50,74% de los votos, por poco más de 20.000 votos diferencia respecto a su oponente, el presidente saliente Ivo Josipovic,informa 24 Sata en Zagreb. Esta es la primera vez que una mujer ha sido elegida para la jefatura del Estado en Croacia. Ex ministra de Asuntos Exteriores y embajadora en Washington, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic también ha sido asistente del secretario general de la OTAN.
Los electores croatas residentes en el extranjero han pesado en la balanza, señala el diario: más del 91% de ellos han votado a favor de ella. La participación fue del 59,06%.
