It’s “the new German economic miracle”, leads Handelsblatt, and “optimism is definitely back”. “The economy’s main systems are all ‘go’,” reports the German daily: first-quarter exports are up 10.3% on 2009, businesses are announcing record profits and, over on the job market, “we’ve gone from fire to hire".
