Jorgos Prevelakis je profesorem geopolitiky na univerzitě Panthéon-Sorbonne v Paříži. Vyučoval rovněž na Technické univerzitě v Aténách, Institutu politických věd v Paříži a na americké Fletcher School (Tufts University - Medford, Massachusetts).
