Kärt Anvelt is sinds de oprichting van Eesti Päevaleht in 1995 politiek redacteur voor het dagblad. Zij is tevens presentator van Nädala Tegija op radiostation Kuku raadio en ze is regelmatig te gast bij televisieprogramma's als politiekdeskundige.
