Donations poured in from all over the world to reconstruct Notre-Dame, after the fire that completely destroyed the roof of Paris' cathedral on 15 April. In a couple of days, donors pledged nearly 900 million euro to rebuild the church, while French president Emmanuel Macron announced that it will be restored in five years, just in time for Paris 2024 Olympic games.
