EU finance ministers agreed on July 8 to issue new loans for Greece in exchange for the country pledging to cut 15,000 public service jobs. At the same time, the Greek government is preparing a previously-decided mobility plan for another 12,500 involuntary transfers and possible dismissals in its civil service between now and September.
