The Greek government is hoping that its 2013 budget, which includes 12 billion euros in cuts, will convince international creditors (the EU-ECB-IMF troika) to release another tranche of aid. Discussions with the troika are in progress on further cuts worth close to two billion euros in the run-up to the key Eurogroup meeting next week.
