Although mainly unaffected by the eurozone crisis, Switzerland is suffering from the high exchange rate on its currency and the economic woes of its neighbors. The 2011-12 winter period ended with a 3.2% decline in activity for the hotel sector and with the government expecting a 1.7% drop for the summer season.
