Jeroen Dijsselbloem is demanding more efforts to implement reforms in indebted Eurozone countries, reports Handelsblatt, following an extensive interview with the Eurogroup President.
In the interview, the Dutch Finance Minister confirms that among other things, he wants to establish bilateral contracts between individual member states and the European Commission to "set deadlines for the completion of reforms."
He also criticises German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s proposal to offer incentives for the rapid application of austerity measures and identifies France as the EU's main problem country, adding the country should be "working harder.”
