The names and birthdays of the 54 people who died when a Riga supermarket collapsed on November 21 take up the entire front page of Latvian daily Diena.
A garden was being constructed on the roof of the shop when it fell in. Rescue workers were still searching through the debris on November 25. The quality of the building, which was awarded an architecture prize, is being questioned, explains Diena.
The catastrophe, which President Andris Bērziņš has described as "murder", is the worst tragedy in Latvia since the country became independent in 1991. The government has called for three days of national mourning.
