Petra Procházková (1964) is a Czech aid worker and journalist, writing chiefly for the daily Lidové noviny. She is the author of several books, including Aluminiová královna (2003) (The Aluminium Queen: The Russian-Chechen War Through the Eyes of Women) and Frišta (2004) (novel about a Russian-Tajik woman living in Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban), and has won several awards.
