“They assassinated Ernest Valko,” reports SME in the wake of the 8 November murder of the well-known and “enormously influential” Slovak lawyer. He was one of those responsible for establishing our constitution, modernising our laws and promoting the civic development of this country. The bullet in his heart is like a shot in the heart of Slovakia,” notes the newspaper.
