On 4 and 5 June, the G7 convened without Russian President Vladimir Putin for a Brussels summit that will be partially devoted to the crisis in Ukraine. The meeting was supposed to have taken place in Sochi in Russia, but was canceled following Moscow's annexation of Crimea. At the conclusion of the summit, the leaders of the G7 " announced that they were ready to reinforce actions against Moscow", reports Le Soir.
