The creation of a transatlantic free trade zone would result in considerable benefits for the United States and Europe, argues the editor in chief of the business daily, Gabor Steingart.
An association of states based on shared ideas and interests, which is sustained by free trade, would amount to a continuation, rather than a break, with the development of both continents. “Moreover, it would send a message of freedom to countries, like China, where state capitalism has been established.“
