Annelien De Greef

Having completed her journalism studies in Antwerp, Belgium, Annelien De Greef worked for a number of newspapers including the Flemish dailies De Standaard and Het Nieuwsblad. In 2007, she won the European Young Journalist Award and in 2009, she was awarded the Karel van Miert Prize for writing on European policy. A European integration and enlargement specialist, she also reports on economic and financial topics.
