She has worked for Lisbon magazineVisão since 2002, and has won a number of awards, including the Jornalismo pela Tolerancia ("Journalism for Tolerance") prize in 2003, which awarded by Portugal's High Commissioner for Immigration and Intercultural Dialogue).
