Bjørn Lomborg (b. 1965) is a Danish author, academic, and environmental writer. He is an adjunct professor at the Copenhagen Business School and director of the Copenhagen Consensus Centre. He became internationally known for his best-selling and controversial book The Skeptical Environmentalist. In 2008 he was named "one of the 50 people who could save the planet" by UK Guardian.
