Jean-Marie Colombani is a French journalist, born in Dakar (Senegal) in 1948. A lawyer by training, he edited the daily Le Monde from 1994 to 2007. Co-founder of the online news site Slate.fr, he is the author of several books, mostly devoted to French political life.
