Etienne Balibar

French philosopher Etienne Balibar (b. 1942) is Professor Emeritus of moral and political philosophy at the University of Paris X – Nanterre, where he teaches political and moral philosophy, and Distinguished Professor of Humanities at the University of California, Irvine. He has published several books on Europe including We, the people of Europe? and Politics and the Other Scene (2002).
