Headlining with "Prosecutor to investigate Carl Bildt's oil business," Dagens Nyheter reports that between 2000 and 2006, the Swedish Foreign Minister had a seat on the board of Lundin Petroleum — a Stockholm based company which is now under investigation for suspected involvement in war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Sudan between 1997 and 2003. The daily adds that in the absence of further revelations or convictions, the investigation which was launched on 21 June is unlikely to pose any real threat to Bildt's position in public office.
