Comedian Volodymyr Zelensky qualified for the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine, despite his inexperience in politics. Zelensky topped the first round on 31 March with 30.2 percent of the vote, well ahead of Petro Poroshenko with 15.9 percent and former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko with 13.3 percent. In a video Zelensky challenged Poroshenko, offering him to come and debate in the big stadium in Kiev before the second round of elections on April 21.
