Archil Kikodze

Archil Kikodze (b. 1972) is a Georgian writer, actor, wildlife guide, photographer, and birdwatcher—one of the leading figures in contemporary Georgian literature. He graduated from Tbilisi State University with a degree in Oriental Studies, and later studied cinematography and screenwriting at the Tbilisi State University of Theatre and Cinema. To date, he has published two award-winning novels, as well as guidebooks, short story collections, and narrative nonfiction inspired by his travels around the world. In his literary work, Kikodze often explores intergenerational themes and fosters dialogue between generations. He lives in Tbilisi.
