Boaventura Monjane is a Mozambican journalist and scholar with a deep commitment to social justice. He is an associate researcher at the Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS) at the University of the Western Cape, where his research focuses on agrarian movements, rural politics, food sovereignty, and climate justice. Boaventura serves as co-editor of the Grassroots Voices section in the Journal of Peasant Studies.
