Claus Christian Malzahn (b. 1963) began his career at Der Spiegel where he worked as a correspondent covering Erfurt, Berlin, Bonn and Warsaw, before becoming Spiegel Online's political editor.
He later became head of the organisation's Berlin office. In 2010, he joined Die Welt where he works as the newspaper's deputy political editor.
