Iulia Hau

Iulia Hau is a Romanian journalist and translator who writes and speaks about feminism, racism, social and gender inequalities, migration, and travel. She is a frequent contributor for news outlets and magazines, and she has published both in Romania and abroad, for publications in Europe and the Americas. She covers topics such as the double standard of aging by gender, the pressure society places on women to look and behave in a certain way, sexual consent, and domestic violence. Her work appeared in National Geographic, Vice Romania, Lazy Women (Hungary), and Cultura Nexos (Mexico), among others.
