Marcello Sorgi is an Italian journalist born in 1955. A lawyer by training, he began working in 1973 in the local press before joining La Stampa in 1986. Between 1998 and 2005, he edited the Turin daily, where he works today as a columnist, after a period working for RAI, the Italian public broadcaster.
