Sofia Turati

Sofia Turati is a freelance journalist based between Milan and Istanbul, specialising in investigative and long-form reporting on environmental conflicts, climate justice and human rights. Her work has appeared in Al Jazeera, Green European Journal, L'Espresso and others. In 2023, she co-founded the media organisation Marea Media, which focuses on media literacy and in-depth reporting in Southern Italy and the Mediterranean.
