Irene Tinagli is a Italian economist born in 1974. Specialising in innovation and development, she worked as an advisor to the UN and the EU and teaches at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. A member of the think-tank Italia Futura, she published "Talento da svendere" ("Talent Sale", ed. Einaudi, 2008), an essay on the lack of opportunities for young Italians.
