Joris Luyendijk (b. 1971) is a Dutch non-fiction author, anthropologist, news correspondent, and TV interviewer. He studied in Kansas, Amsterdam, and Cairo. His last translated essay is Swimming With Sharks (Guardian Faber Publishing, 2015).
