Kamel Daoud (1970) is a French-Algerian writer and journalist. Winner of the Goncourt Prize for the first novel in 2015, he was editor-in-chief of Le Quotidien d'Oran and is also a columnist and editorialist for various media, including Le Point, Le Monde des religions, The New York Times and Liberté.
