Konstanty Julian Gebert

Konstanty Julian Gebert (pen name Dawid Warszawski) is a Polish journalist, commentator and translator, associated with Gazeta Wyborcza since 1989. He is also editor in chief of the Jewish monthly Midrasz. In 1992-1993, he accompanied Tadeusz Mazowiecki on his mission as the UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia, subsequently publishing an account of his experiences.
