Nikolay Koposov is a historian of modern Europe and an internationally recognized authority on the comparative politics of memory, especially in his native Russia, where he taught for three decades. Currently, he is a Visiting Distinguished Professor at the School of History, Technology and Society, Ivan Allen College in Atlanta, Georgia. He also was the founder and dean of the first liberal arts college in Russia.
