"The ODS is selling its members for millions," booms Hospodářské noviny. After the Czech government reduced state subsidies for political parties by 5%, politicians are now looking for other revenue streams. The right-wing party currently in power, the Civic Democrats(ODS), has become the first to begin selling the personal information of its 32,000 members to telemarketing firms, the daily explains, noting that the party receives between 40 and 60 cents for the details of each of its members.
