In Belgrade, 20,000 people turned out to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of Zoran Đinđić, the pro-western prime minister (2001-2003) who was assassinated by a sniper on March 12, 2003.
The newspaper notes that only the deputy prime minister and minister of foreign and domestic trade and telecommunications, the Social Democrat Rasim Ljajić, was present at the march, which was organised by the Liberal Democratic Party and the Democratic Party, of which Đinđić was a member.
