The business daily of record for the City – and for the rest of the world. This broadsheet on light salmon-pink paper provides exhaustive coverage of international politics, business and finance. Founded in 1888, the Financial Times is one of the few papers to devote more space to foreign than to domestic coverage. In fact, only one page is reserved for national news. It is, moreover, the sole British daily with a wider circulation abroad than at home, publishing European, Asian, US and, since April 2008, Middle East editions.
