Le Soir

Belgium’s number one daily Le Soir defines itself as “progressive and independent”. Politically neutral, it nevertheless rose to prominence as a defender of French speakers settled in the Flemish-speaking environs of Brussels.

A web pioneer, lesoir.be is the first French language new site in Belgium. Its strong point – the “Fil de l’info” section with its offbeat take on news. Its main weakness? Much of the online content is subscriber only.
