Newspaper founded after the declaration of martial law on December 13th, 1981, intended for the nomenklatura. Rzeczpospolita ("The Republic"), which now follows the Kaczynski twins' political line, deals in the main with economic and legal issues, but its culture section and weekly literary supplement is of high quality.
