The right-wing daily calls for Britain’s first woman PM to receive a state funeral, which would normally be reserved for sovereigns, adding that “by sheer willpower and force of conviction, she turned this country round, restoring the UK’s economy and self-belief.”
Acknowledging her role was divisive, the newspaper says: ”The immediate blow to many communities was enormous. But the alternative was national ruin.”
