A single Belgian-selected logo is to illustrate the next three presidencies of the EU as of January 2010, reports *La Vanguardia*. Consisting of the initials EU, it will adorn Spain, Belgium and Hungary six month periods at the head of Union with only the national colours changing. "Belgium and Hungary, though, want to include the name of their country," the Barcelona daily writes, adding that this is a "complication" that could be settled using "the codes for national car number plates - ES, BE and HU." The original idea for this shared logo came from Spain, which Belgium took up and developed. Hungary, however, "fears that once it invests the presidency in 2011, (the logo) will be passsed its visual expiry date".
