Eyüp Can (ur. 1973), redaktor naczelny Referans, studiował dziennikarstwo w Stambule i nauki polityczne na Harvardzie. W latach 1994−2004 współpracował z dziennikiem Zaman. Żoną Eyüp Cana jest znana turecka pisarka Elif Shafak.
